About Me

I am a graduate from Michigan State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and minor in Sports Journalism. Along with my education in which I have been cross-trained in all forms of journalism, I have been working in sports media for over five years, starting with my very first CO-OP at my local radio station in high school. I first attended the University of Akron and was a member of WZIP, the campus radio station that helped me refine my skills. I later transferred to Michigan State and became a member of Impact 89FM, where I worked my way to covering the biggest games on the biggest stages, including broadcasting a Sweet Sixteen game at Madison Square Garden in New York City. I was also a part of the Big Ten Student U program and participated in a number of various internships and freelance work as well. My motivation is as high as anyone you will ever meet, I'm a passionate sports fan who has been researching this industry my whole life. There's nothing else I could ever imagine myself doing.  I understand the hierarchy in the media industry, and don't mind doing the necessary work to get to the top, I'm just looking for my shot so I can do what I love and entertain and help others in the way I know how, through sports.
